Restoration of the windows in the oriental Moorish Kiosk, Linderhof
On time to the 125th anniversary of King Ludwigs II’s death at June, 13th, the Moorish Kiosk of the bavarian Fairytale King glooms in new splendor. And so do two of the artistic designed oriental windows.
The mosaic of coloured glass embedded in an ornamentle, aureated border has been disassembled, small detailly cleaned, fixed, in parts glued and completed, straightened and assambled again. The restoration of the windows in the Moorish Kiosk has been realized by a team around restorer Hanna Pohle.
